Position Vision:
The Inside Sales Representative is a direct support extension of the National Sales Manager, helping execute sales initiatives, support customer engagement, and ensure sales activities run smoothly and efficiently. This role enables the National Sales Manager to focus on strategy and growth by providing reliable, detail-oriented support with customer communication, product information, documentation, training materials, and pricing. Through close collaboration with Engineering and Production, this role also contributes to refining product offerings, improving processes, and capturing customer feedback that drives continuous improvement.

Supporting a Fast-Paced Sales Leader: Anticipating needs, prioritizing tasks, and responding quickly to support the National Sales Manager’s goals and commitments.

Balancing External and Internal Focus: Providing excellent customer support while also collaborating with internal teams on product and process improvements.

Technical Communication: Translating product and technical information into clear, customer-ready explanations and materials.

Managing Multiple Requests: Handling incoming questions from customers, sales reps, and internal teams without losing accuracy or responsiveness.

Continuous Improvement: Using feedback from customers and the sales team to improve tools, documentation, and product offerings.
Expectations:
IAT’s expectations for a successful Inside Sales Representative include:
National Sales Manager Support

Serve as a primary support resource for the National Sales Manager, assisting with daily sales activities, follow-ups, and coordination.

Help prepare quotes, pricing information, presentations, and sales documentation.

Track open items, customer requests, and action items to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Customer & Sales Support

Guide customers through product selection, configurations, and options as directed by the National Sales Manager.

Provide customers with technical information, documentation, training resources, and pricing support.

Assist with responding to customer inquiries and maintaining clear communication throughout the sales process.

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with Engineering and Production to refine product offerings, improve documentation clarity, and support design-for-manufacturability efforts.

Capture and relay customer feedback to support product improvements and cost-reduction opportunities.

​Process & Improvement
-
Support improvements to sales processes, tools, and internal workflows that increase efficiency and accuracy.

Help standardize sales support materials to ensure consistency and quality.
