Position Vision:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for revolutionizing our PLC/HMI and electrical design systems to set new standards in quality, automation, and scalability. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Automated electrical drawings from DryWare outputs

• Automated P&ID diagrams from the same data

• Automated Bill of Materials (BOM) generation

• World-class PLC/HMI programs that are plug-and-play for in-house factory technicians

• Fully configurable programs derived from our design automation systems (e.g., drawings and P&IDs)

Expectations
To succeed and grow in this role, you’ll be expected to:

• Stabilize and streamline our PLC/HMI program for internal projects within 60 days, eliminating known bugs and inefficiencies

• Lead innovation efforts on control-side automation within 90 days, especially relating to design-to-code integration

• Be able to jump on technical support calls at a moment’s notice, troubleshooting and resolving customer issues remotely and same-day whenever possible

• Contribute actively to cross-department collaboration, driving better outcomes across engineering, production, and service

• Model the IAT standard of continuous improvement—always asking, “How can we make this better?”​
